Intro
Hi!, I'm J Smyls, a music producer from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I'm a producer and live DJ of electronic music. Most of my time is spent either behind a computer making music or at school in Rotterdam where I study Music Production, or Creative Production as they like to call it. My style is very diverse but I do like to use lots of musical elements, so a lot of my tracks have a progressive feel to them.

Music
My music is influenced by loads of different styles. A lot of it is made for the dancefloor but I also experiment with combining different styles. Great heros are guys like Deadmau5, Gui Boratto, Trentemoller, Burial and Egbert. Have a listen!
Livesets
Next to producing music I'm also always working on my liveset. This is a live performance of dance music produced by me. With a laptop, midi controller and Ableton Live I'm ableto mix and mash, tweak and freak, my own music live for the dancefloor. The set is mostly tech-house, techno and minimal.
